What About the Children

As parents its easy to get caught up in our daily lives.  Sometimes our days are overwhelming especially when you coupled them with issues such as domestic violence and abuse.  Unfortunately, most of the services available on the internet focus on healing the parent or adult.  In the end, our children’s psychological and emotional needs are sometimes overlooked.  Therefore, I have decided to put together a list of resources to assist you in this area.  Remember these resources are not a substitute for physician or therapuetic services.  Please contact your doctor or therapist if further assistance is needed.  There are also many other resources available on the internet.

  2. Thank you for the list of resources. I will work through them as time permits. My daughter left her abusive husband last October.Daily we tell her how proud we are of her and help her in anyway we can, but I find myself uncertain of what to do to help my 3 grandchildren 9mo 4 yrs and 12 yrs. BACA continues to be helpful to them and they are in counseling. I wish I knew what I can do.
